Metsola: We are bringing Europe even closer to Greece, the heart of democracy
Brussels, 28 November (Hibya) – European Parliament President Roberta Metsola said she began her day in Athens at the Hellenic Parliament, noting that they reaffirmed the strong ties between Europe and Greece.
Metsola highlighted that Greece is the heart of European democracy, saying: “I am pleased to start the day in the Parliament in Athens, reaffirming our strong ties and bringing Europe even closer to Greece, the heart of democracy.”
Thanking the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Nikitas Kaklamanis, Metsola added: “Thank you for your steadfast partnership as we work together to strengthen democracy and deliver tangible results for families, farmers and businesses.”
