Message from Ghebreyesus on International Day of Women and Girls in Science
World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus issued a message for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, celebrated on February 11th.
Ghebreyesus highlighted the significant contributions of women scientists in global public health and medicine, stating:
"I underscore the commitment to full and equal participation of women and girls in health sciences and health leadership on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, towards achieving the goal of health for all."
