Merz: We Must Put Forth Creative Effort Against Extremism
Berlin, October 14 (Hibya) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that the most effective way to combat extremism, which feeds on justified discontent and perceived injustice, is creative and constructive effort.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz made a statement on his social media account regarding the fight against extremism. Merz drew attention to how growing discontent and perceptions of injustice in society can feed extremism.
In his post, Merz said: "Where extremism grows out of justified discontent and perceived injustice, there is only one thing that can help counter its destructive force: creative effort."
Noting that creative and shaping effort is one of the qualities that sets Germany apart from other nations, Merz said: "This is what makes our country stand out. As the Federal Government, this is what we are working for."
