Luxon: Stability is critical for global prices
Wellington, May 1 (Hibya) – New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon stated that stability in the Gulf is critical for energy prices and global economic pressures.
Luxon emphasized that stability in the Gulf region is of great importance for energy markets and global economic balances.
Luxon noted that rising fuel prices, in particular, are placing significant pressure on citizens in New Zealand and that this impact is being felt globally.
Prime Minister Luxon stated that in this context he held a meeting with the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq. During the meeting, diplomatic efforts to restore stability in the Gulf were discussed.
Luxon expressed his appreciation for Oman’s role in contributing to diplomatic solutions and negotiation processes in the region and stressed that these initiatives should be supported.
