Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva issued a statement on the occasion of Father's Day.

Emphasizing the importance of parents spending time with their children, Lula da Silva said, “The greatest gift a father can receive is more time with his children. Time to accompany them at every stage, to play, to talk and to truly be there for them.”

Sharing his vision on working hours and work-life balance, Lula da Silva said, “That is why we are determined to end the 6x1 work schedule. Because work is important, but living and spending time with the people we love is just as important.”
