Leyen: EU preparing 18th heavy sanctions package
Brussels, June 2 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced that the EU is preparing its 18th heavy sanctions package, which includes lowering the price cap on crude oil.
President von der Leyen held a meeting with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham.
She stated that the package, including a reduction in the crude oil price cap, “when combined with U.S. measures, will significantly enhance the joint impact of our sanctions.”
