Lavrov: The US wants to take control of energy supply routes
Moscow, May 13 (Hibya) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the United States resorts to illegitimate methods in order to establish dominance in global energy markets.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made assessments regarding energy supply security and Washington’s objectives over energy corridors.
Criticizing the US global energy policies, Lavrov said, “The goal of the United States is clear: to take control of every major energy supply route in the world by using illegitimate methods, especially against its competitors.”
Providing reassurance regarding energy trade with India, Lavrov concluded his statement by saying, “However, I assure you that India’s interests regarding Russian energy supplies will not be harmed.”
