Lammy expresses support for the ECHR
London, December 10 (Hibya) – UK Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy issued a statement following his meeting with the President of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), Matthias Guyomar.
Lammy stated that the United Kingdom stands firmly behind the European Convention on Human Rights and the independence of the Court.
He emphasized that the system must continue to evolve to safeguard the freedoms of future generations, highlighting the importance of reform and cooperation.
