Lahbib: We are working resolutely for the rights of all individuals
Brussels, May 23 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib met with Hungarian MP and Chair of the LGBTIQ Intergroup for a Diverse Hungary, Laszló Sebian-Petrovszki.
During the meeting, issues of equality and combating discrimination were discussed openly and constructively. Commissioner Lahbib emphasized the European Commission's commitment to upholding fundamental EU values and defending the rights of all individuals.
“Equality and human rights are cornerstones of Europe. We will continue to defend these values under all circumstances,” Lahbib stated, stressing that fighting discrimination is among their priorities.
