Lahbib: We are determined to strengthen EU-UN cooperation
Brussels, March 13 (Hibya) - The European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, stated that she, together with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Tom Fletcher, is determined to strengthen EU-UN cooperation.
Lahbib emphasized that the EU firmly supports the critical coordinating role of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in global humanitarian efforts.
She reaffirmed that, together with Fletcher, they are committed to strengthening EU-UN cooperation.
