European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib noted that today’s news from Colombia is deeply distressing.
Lahbib stated that 15 people, including two aid workers from NRC Latin America and World Vision, lost their lives in a plane crash, adding: “Aid workers risk their lives to help others. I extend my condolences to their families, friends, and colleagues.”
