Lahbib: The memory of the Holocaust must turn into action
Brussels, January 27 (Hibya) – European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib warned against hatred and exclusion while commemorating the victims of the Holocaust.
In her statement on the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day, Commissioner Lahbib said that Europe commemorates with respect six million Jews and all Holocaust victims.
Stressing that hatred and exclusion begin with words, Lahbib said, “Remembrance must turn into action, so that ‘never again’ truly means never again.”
