Lahbib: The EU stands with Mauritania in supporting local communities
Brussels, March 12 (Hibya) - European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, announced that the EU stands with Mauritania in supporting local communities.
European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, stated that the EU supports the most vulnerable refugees, returning Mauritanians, and local communities in Mauritania.
Lahbib emphasized that Mauritania has demonstrated exceptional solidarity in welcoming refugees, adding: "We continue to work with development partners to strengthen the country's resilience."
