Lahbib: Sustainable investment in civil protection is needed
Brussels, October 22 (Hibya) - European Union (EU) Commissioner Hadja Lahbib discussed civil protection and preparedness efforts with Czechia.
EU Commissioner Hadja Lahbib said Czechia contributes to EU civil protection efforts through rescEU, pre-positioning and operational support. Commenting on her meeting with Czech Interior Minister Metnar, Lahbib said: "We discussed preparedness efforts across government, business and society as a whole, as well as the need for sustainable investment in EU civil protection activities."
