Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib reacted to the killing of two truck drivers in Gaza, calling for an end to violations of international humanitarian law.

Lahbib stressed that the transport of materials used in humanitarian aid should not be put at risk, stating: “The delivery of life-saving supplies must never threaten lives.”

Referring to the killing of two truck drivers at the Mansura water filling point in northern Gaza, Lahbib said she shared the reaction of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) regarding the incident.

Lahbib stated, “I share the outrage over the killing of two truck drivers yesterday in Mansura in northern Gaza. My thoughts are with the families of the victims.”

Highlighting violations of international humanitarian law, Lahbib added: “These violations must end.”
