Kyrgyzstan Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov has been dismissed
Moscow, December 16 (Hibya) - According to sources in the Kyrgyz presidential administration, Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov has been dismissed from his position.
The Kyrgyz presidential press service promised to provide official information later.
Some Kyrgyz media outlets reported that Japarov submitted a statement and resigned of his own accord.
Sources in the presidential administration told Interfax that the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers will not resign.
An agency source said that First Deputy Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev will temporarily serve as Chairman of the Cabinet and Head of the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration.
Japarov has served as Chairman of the Cabinet and Head of the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration since October 2021.
