Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson stated that they held another discussion with European leaders and international partners regarding the latest situation in Ukraine, peace efforts, and security guarantees.

Assessing the content of the meeting, Kristersson said: “I have just held another meeting with European leaders and partners on Ukraine, peace efforts, and security guarantees. Ensuring Ukraine’s security, both in the short and long term, is vital to achieving a good peace.”

Emphasizing that progress is being made in the peace process, albeit slowly, Kristersson added: “This work is moving forward, even if slowly, and Russia now needs to show through its actions whether it is ready to seriously move to end the war.”
