Kremlin denies claims that Moscow is drawing China into the Ukraine conflict
Moscow, April 10 (Hibya) – The Kremlin dismissed Zelensky's claims that two Chinese soldiers were captured fighting alongside Russia in Ukraine as baseless.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded to a journalist's question by saying: "That’s not true. China is taking a balanced position, China is our strategic partner, friend, and ally, and it has always maintained a very, very balanced stance."
Peskov added: "That’s why Zelensky is wrong."
Chinese officials said they were checking Kyiv's information about Chinese soldiers allegedly serving alongside Russian forces. Beijing stated it has not sent troops to the conflict zone.
