Kikwete arrives in France for GPE Meetings
Dodoma, June 1 (Hibya) - Tanzania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that former President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete has traveled to France for the GPE Meetings.
According to a statement from Tanzania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, former Tanzanian President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete arrived in France on an official working visit to chair meetings of the Board of Directors of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), which he currently leads.
Upon his arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport, Kikwete was welcomed by Tanzania's Ambassador to France, Saidi Othman Yakubu, and embassy officials. As Chair of the GPE Board of Directors, he leads global efforts to promote equitable, inclusive, and quality education, particularly in developing countries.
During this visit, former President Kikwete is expected to chair important Board sessions and participate in strategic discussions on the future of global education and sustainable development.
