Israeli army: Suspicious vehicle entered Ofraim settlement
Tel Aviv, August 8 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces announced that a suspect was detained during an operation launched over a suspected terrorist infiltration into the Ofraim settlement.
The Israel Defense Forces issued a statement regarding a suspected terrorist infiltration into the Ofraim settlement in the Binyamin Brigade area. The statement said that while security forces were tracking a suspicious vehicle in the area, the vehicle entered the settlement.
Security forces were dispatched to the area, and a security officer responding to the suspect after he exited the vehicle opened fire and stopped him. The suspect was detained by the forces and handed over to Israel's Shai District Police for further proceedings.
