Israel: Hezbollah rocket hits UNIFIL base, 3 UN personnel injured
Jerusalem, April 3 (Hibya) - The Israeli army announced that a rocket that struck a UNIFIL position in southern Lebanon was fired by Hezbollah; 3 United Nations personnel were injured in the attack, two of them seriously.
According to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces, a rocket hit a UNIFIL base in southern Lebanon. The statement said it was determined that the rocket was fired by Hezbollah.
It was reported that 3 United Nations personnel were injured when the rocket struck a UNIFIL position in the El-Adaysah area, with two of them in serious condition.
The Israeli army stated that investigations indicated the rocket’s launch trajectory pointed to Hezbollah, claiming that the group continues activities that put international forces at risk.
