Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi held phone call with Pakistani counterpart Dar
New Delhi, May 8 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi held a phone call with Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar to discuss recent security developments in South Asia amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan.
During the call, Araghchi, referring to his talks with Indian officials, stressed the importance of both sides making every effort to prevent further escalation and ease the situation.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister outlined the current regional situation and emphasized that Pakistan is not seeking to escalate tensions.
