Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Bagheri met with Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan
Tehran, August 3 (Hibya) - Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri discussed the latest developments related to the assassination of Islamic Resistance Movement leader Ismail Haniyeh by Israel with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan over the phone.
Bagheri expressed his satisfaction with the participation of the Turkish Foreign Minister in the Iranian Presidential inauguration ceremony, hoping for further development of relations between the two countries under the new administration.
Bagheri stated that the Israeli regime seriously violated the territorial integrity and national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran by assassinating one of the leading figures of the Islamic world, Ismail Haniyeh. This terrorist act is contrary to international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter, creating serious threats to regional security and stability. The Islamic Republic of Iran will not relinquish its natural and legitimate right to respond decisively and justly to this blatant crime.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also expressed his condolences to the Islamic world on the death of Haniye and condemned Israel's terrorist act, which violated the red lines and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
