Iranian Government Spokesperson Ali Muhacerani said that despite military threats, the government gives priority to diplomacy, while all options remain on the table.

Muhacerani noted the increase in confrontational approaches in the international environment, emphasizing that the Iranian government’s main objective is to protect national interests and strengthen regional cooperation through diplomacy.

Stating that the government aims to resolve issues on the basis of international peace, Muhacerani said: “In an environment marked by confrontational approaches, the government’s effort is to resolve problems through diplomacy, ensuring national interests and regional cooperation, based on international peace.”

Emphasizing that diplomacy is the preferred option, Muhacerani stressed that this does not mean other options have been ruled out for Iran. He said: “This does not mean that other options have been taken off the table for the Iranian state and leadership. On the contrary, we are fully prepared and will overcome this phase as well, while preserving our national honor and unified command structure.”
