In a statement from the IDF, it was said: "Earlier today, Unit 869 detected a terrorist entering a military structure belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Kfar Kila area of southern Lebanon. Following a quick closure, an air force aircraft targeted the structure where the terrorist was located."

Additionally, it was reported that Israeli fighter jets targeted military structures used by Hezbollah in the southern Lebanon areas of Itrun, Kfar Kila, Maysalun, Et Taybeh, Al-Adaysa, and Yaron. Furthermore, the IDF statement noted that artillery fire was launched at various areas in southern Lebanon.
