IDF: 210th Division's area of responsibility to be reinforced with additional troops
Jerusalem, July 16 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that strikes were carried out across Syria to protect Druze communities in the Suwayda region, Jabal al-Druze, and wherever necessary.
The IDF stated that Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi ordered the redeployment of forces to the Northern Command to further strengthen intelligence and assault elements and increase the pace of operations.
The statement emphasized that this step aims to accelerate the halt of attacks on Druze in Syria. "The 210th Division’s area of responsibility will be reinforced with additional units at border outposts and within the security zone. Uncontrolled crossings into Syria put both Druze and our forces at risk and must be stopped immediately," the statement read.
