New York, 20 February (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that innovations in artificial intelligence are outpacing our capacity to fully understand them and stressed the need for reliable data that can be shared with confidence.

If we want artificial intelligence to serve humanity, policies cannot be shaped based on speculation, exaggeration, or misinformation, Guterres said, adding: “We need reliable data that we can share with confidence across countries and sectors.”
