Guterres: Artificial intelligence is transforming our world
New York, February 4 (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres announced that he has submitted to the UN General Assembly for consideration a list of 40 experts who will serve on the new Independent International Scientific Panel on Artificial Intelligence.
UN Secretary-General Guterres stated that artificial intelligence is transforming the world, saying: “The real question is whether we will shape this transformation together, or allow it to shape us.”
Guterres said that, in order to help establish a common framework for cooperation based on science and solidarity, he has submitted to the UN General Assembly a list of 40 experts who will serve on the new Independent International Scientific Panel on Artificial Intelligence.
