Guterres: A handful of countries cannot decide the future of artificial intelligence
New Delhi, February 19 (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said at the AI Impact Summit that the future of artificial intelligence cannot be determined by a few countries or left to the whims of a few billionaires.
UN Secretary-General Guterres emphasized the need to develop skills, increase data capacity, create affordable computing power, and build inclusive ecosystems.
He expressed concern that without investment, many countries would be "left behind" in the age of artificial intelligence.
Stating that the target is 3 billion dollars, Guterres said, "This is less than one percent of the annual revenue of a single technology company."
