Geneva, February 23 (Hibya) - WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that road accidents cause more than 2 deaths every minute.
WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus reported that road accidents cause more than 2 deaths every minute and result in approximately 1.2 million deaths annually.
Ghebreyesus said, "If these deaths were caused by a virus, it would be called a pandemic, and the world would be striving to develop a vaccine to prevent them."
