Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf criticized the US administration's policies prioritizing Israel, claiming that Washington was preparing for a new phase of war.

Ghalibaf argued that the United States was unable to walk away from the table like a gambler, saying, "It is acting like a gambler who cannot leave the table despite losing." Ghalibaf stated that the United States was "on the brink of an Israel-first abyss," claiming that the country was being drawn toward a critical point in the process.

Alleging that the US administration was preparing for a new phase of war, Ghalibaf directly addressed the person to whom his remarks were directed, saying, "Set aside the long speeches. Why don't you tell your boss this?"
