Fletcher: Clashes in Lebanon are causing mass displacement
New York, March 14 (Hibya) - United Nations Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher announced that 15 million dollars has been allocated from the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) to respond to the mass displacement caused by the escalating clashes in Lebanon.

Fletcher emphasized that meeting the basic needs of hundreds of thousands of people who have been forced to leave their homes due to the clashes is a priority.
Providing information on how the allocated funds will be used, Fletcher said: "Clashes in Lebanon are causing mass displacement. To respond to the growing humanitarian needs, I have allocated 15 million dollars from the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund."
Fletcher added: "This fund will provide life-saving support to those most in need, including shelter materials, food, health services, water and sanitation."
