Final results of Algeria's parliamentary elections announced
Algiers, July 19 (Hibya) - According to the final results announced by Algerian Constitutional Court President Leila Aslaoui, the ruling National Liberation Front (FLN) won the highest number of seats in the parliamentary elections held on July 2.
According to CCTV, the final results announced by Algerian Constitutional Court President Leila Aslaoui show that the ruling National Liberation Front (FLN) secured the largest number of seats in the parliamentary elections held on July 2.
Following the review of objections to the preliminary results, the final figures confirmed that the FLN won 91 seats in the 407-member National People's Assembly.
The National Democratic Rally came in second with 74 seats, while the Future Front secured third place with 56 seats. According to the official figures released by the Constitutional Court, voter turnout in the general election remained low at 21.25 percent.
