Brussels, February 10 (Hibya) - European Parliament (EP) President Roberta Metsola met with Belarusian politician Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.
EP President Metsola highlighted that Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya embodies the unwavering determination of the Belarusian people in their pursuit of democracy and freedom, describing her as a courageous and inspiring figure.
After meeting again with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya following the fraudulent elections in Belarus, Metsola stated: "It is wonderful to renew the European Parliament's strong commitment to the democratic forces in Belarus."
