Eight killed in U.S. attacks on suspected drug boats
Washington, January 1 (Hibya) - The U.S. military said in a statement on X that eight people were killed in several new attacks targeting suspected drug boats.
According to the military, the attack targeted, among others, three vessels traveling in a convoy.
The attack is said to have taken place in international waters, but the exact location is unclear. Previous attacks occurred in the Pacific and Caribbean seas.
Since September, at least 115 people have been killed in U.S. attacks on suspected drug boats in international waters.
