Eid prayer held in Gaza for the first time in two years
Gaza, March 21 (Hibya) - After more than two years of ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, residents performed Eid al-Fitr prayers in temporary areas set up among the rubble.
According to CCTV, while the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues, people are making efforts to return to normal life.
According to official data, since October 7, 2023, the total death toll has exceeded 72,000, with tens of thousands injured. Despite the ceasefire that came into effect in October 2025, about 90 percent of the population is still struggling to survive in tents.
For the first time since the start of the war, a collective Eid prayer was held, but due to severe destruction, the housing and food crisis is deepening.
It was reported that ongoing border restrictions are causing serious difficulties in accessing medicine and basic necessities.
