Dutch Foreign Ministry: Independence cannot be taken for granted
Amsterdam, August 24 (Hibya) - The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that support for Ukraine’s future, freedom and security would continue on Ukraine’s Independence Day.
The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day.
The ministry said it had asked displaced Ukrainians living in the Netherlands what independence means to them.
The statement said the Ukrainians’ remarks served as a reminder that independence cannot be taken for granted.
The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that it would continue to stand with Ukraine for the country’s future, freedom and the security of Europe.
