Dar: We strongly condemn all forms of violence
Islamabad, April 26 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated that he was “deeply shocked” by the armed attack during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
Dar said, “We are relieved that Donald Trump, JD Vance, and the First Lady are safe.” Strongly condemning the violence, Dar stated: “We strongly condemn all forms of violence, which are enemies of diplomacy and unacceptable in any civilized society.”
At the end of his statement, the Pakistani minister added: “Our best wishes are with the President of the United States and the American people.”
