Croatian FM Radman: Preserving national memory is vital for our future
Zagreb, January 27 (Hibya) – Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman visited an exhibition opened on the occasion of the 1100th anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom, drawing attention to the importance of historical awareness and national memory.
Croatian Foreign Minister Radman, together with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited the exhibition titled “In the Beginning, There Was the Kingdom,” opened at the Klović Gallery in Zagreb as part of the 1100th anniversary of the founding of the Croatian Kingdom.
Emphasizing that the exhibition powerfully demonstrates the continuity of Croatia’s state tradition, national identity and its belonging to Europe, Radman made statements following the tour conducted under the guidance of the exhibition’s curator and author, Trpimir Vedriš.
Pointing to the importance of preserving historical awareness and national memory, Radman stated that Croatia’s rich cultural heritage constitutes a lasting foundation for responsible politics, a culture of dialogue and the country’s future.
