China retaliates against US tariffs
Beijing, February 4 (Hibya) - According to a document published on Tuesday, China will impose additional tariffs on certain goods imported from the United States starting February 10.
According to the statement from the Tariff and Classification Committee of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, China is imposing a 15% tax on coal and liquefied natural gas (LNG) imported from the US.
Specifically, an additional 15% tax is being imposed on coal and LNG.
Additionally, an extra 10% tax is being imposed on crude oil, agricultural machinery, large-capacity vehicles, and pickup trucks.
