Chairman of Libya’s Presidential Council speaks with Azerbaijani President
Baku, March 7 (Hibya) - Chairman of Libya’s Presidential Council Mohammed Yunis Al-Menfi discussed cooperation and bilateral relations with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, condemning Iran’s air attack against Azerbaijan.
Chairman of Libya’s Presidential Council Al-Menfi called Azerbaijani President Aliyev by phone on March 7, 2026. During the conversation, Iran’s air attack against Azerbaijan was condemned.
President Aliyev thanked him for the solidarity and support shown during the phone call. The two sides also exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Libya and on the development of bilateral relations.
