Carney: Canada is ready to lead this effort
Ottawa, March 25 (Hibya) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that Canada is ready to take a leading role in the Defense, Security and Resilience Bank project, which will be established to provide low-cost financing for defense projects in participating countries.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney made statements regarding new financing models for the defense industry and increasing military capacity.
Stating that Canada is willing to lead this process, Carney said: “The Defense, Security and Resilience Bank will provide low-cost financing for critical defense projects in participating countries.”
Referring to the economic and military benefits of the project, Prime Minister Carney said: “By bringing together credit capacity, we will enhance our military capability and create good jobs in our defense sectors.”
