Budrys: Europe should use the momentum after Hungary’s recent elections
Vilnius, April 21 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys spoke about Europe’s financial support for Ukraine, the EU accession process, and new sanctions to be imposed on Russia.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys stated that the European Union should make use of the momentum following the recent elections in Hungary.
Emphasizing that financial support for Ukraine should be accelerated, Budrys said: “Europe should use the momentum after Hungary’s recent elections. Swift action must be taken regarding the €90 billion support loan for Ukraine.”
Sharing his stance on sanctions against Russia and the peace process, Budrys said: “The 20th sanctions package against Russia is ready. This is how we must apply real pressure and move toward a just and lasting peace.”
