Dutch Minister of Defence Ruben Brekelmans stated that the Dutch Armed Forces continue layered air defense activities in Poland during the holiday period.

Brekelmans said: “Even during the holidays, our military provides layered air defense in Poland.” He noted that Patriot, NASAMS and counter-drone systems are being used, adding that efforts to protect military centers are continuing uninterrupted.

“With Patriots, NASAMS and counter-drone systems, we are ready 24/7 to defend military centers for shipments to Ukraine,” Brekelmans said.

Referring to the motivation of the troops on duty, Brekelmans added: “We are doing this with great dedication and comradeship.”
