Brekelmans: Accelerating defense production is vital for our security
Munich, 14 February (Hibya) - Dutch Minister of Defence Ruben Brekelmans met with defense industry leaders in Munich to discuss increasing production capacity and opportunities for joint production in armored vehicle projects.
Dutch Minister of Defence Ruben Brekelmans announced that he held a series of meetings with leading figures of the defense industry as part of the Munich Security Conference.
Providing details of his meeting with the CEO of Rheinmetall, Brekelmans said, "With the CEO of Rheinmetall, we discussed our ongoing armored vehicle projects, opportunities for joint production, and what is needed to scale up production."
Emphasizing the strategic importance of these initiatives in the defense industry, Minister Brekelmans stated, "This is vital for our security and our economy."
