Bayramov met with his Kazakh counterpart Kosherbayev
Baku, April 8 (Hibya) – Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized during his meeting with Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev their determination to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries and transport connectivity across the Caspian Sea.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, expressing his satisfaction at hosting Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev in Azerbaijan, made a statement on bilateral and regional cooperation processes.
Providing information on the content of the meeting, Bayramov said: "During the meeting, we discussed the key aspects of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan strategic partnership; emphasizing the importance of high-level political dialogue, we highlighted expanding trade and economic cooperation and strengthening connectivity within the framework of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route."
Drawing attention to regional security and sustainable development goals, Bayramov stated: "We exchanged views on regional and international security issues; we emphasized the importance of joint efforts to promote peace, stability and sustainable development in the region."
Regarding the future of ties between the two countries, Bayramov said: "We reaffirmed our commitment to further deepening bilateral relations; we also discussed increasing cooperation within regional and international organizations."
