Baghaei: The UN Security Council must act immediately
Tehran, February 28 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei reacted to the attack that targeted a girls' elementary school in Hormozgan province. Baghaei stated that the United Nations (UN) Security Council must take immediate action.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei said that the US and Israel had carried out an extremely heavy and unjust attack against Iran by targeting Iranian cities without discrimination.
He mentioned that in one incident, in Minab in Hormozgan province, an elementary school was targeted, causing the death and injury of dozens of innocent young girls, and said:
“This is an outright crime. The world must stand up against this severe injustice. The UN Security Council must immediately take action, fulfilling its primary responsibility under the Charter.”
