Asian stock markets show mixed performance
Istanbul, October 16 (Hibya) – Stock indices traded in Asia-Pacific markets showed mixed performance.
Stock indices traded in Asia-Pacific markets showed mixed performance. Indices in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Shanghai rose, while the Indian stock market recorded a decline.
In Australia, the ASX 200 index increased by 1.10 percent to 8,815.50 points. In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index gained 1.75 percent, reaching 65,553 points.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index rose by 1.21 percent to 24,353.69 points, while the Shanghai Composite Index advanced by approximately 0.95 percent to 3,742.656 points.
In India, the Nifty 50 index declined by 0.19 percent to 22,954.05 points.
