Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi, on an official visit to Cairo, met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and important regional and international developments.

Araghchi conveyed greetings from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to his Egyptian counterpart and expressed satisfaction with the increasing contacts and meetings between the two countries' officials in recent months.

El-Sisi, in return, sent his greetings to Pezeshkian and emphasized the need to continue close consultation and dialogue with Iran and to expand bilateral relations based on mutual interests and respect.

Referring to Egypt’s efforts to stop genocide and massacres in Gaza, el-Sisi reaffirmed his country's stance on controlling and preventing escalation of tensions in the region, ensuring calm, and safeguarding the interests of the Muslim ummah.

Araghchi and el-Sisi also further discussed the current state of indirect talks between Iran and the United States.
