Angolan President Joao Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço arrived in Dodoma, the capital of Tanzania, for a three-day official visit.

According to a statement by Tanzania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lourenço met with Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan during his visit. The talks are expected to focus on strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries, enhancing cooperation and exploring joint initiatives in areas of mutual benefit.

Lourenço was welcomed by Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dodoma.

The welcoming ceremony was attended by Tanzania's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Dr. Rihmo Nyansaho, Minister of Transport Nguwar Maghembe, Dodoma Regional Commissioner Rosemary Senyamule, and various officials from Zambia, South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi and Tanzania.
